Exhausted

A week ago, I went through my nth evaluation. I can say that was pretty much a 'OK.' I know by myself that I have performed really better than before but things change. With the haunting global recession right now, I really need to step up and raise the bar in order to prove myself worthy of staying in the company.

My superior advised me to take more reviews and study during my free time but what the heck does 'free time' mean? I can't even take a decent coffee break because as soon as I get out of the door to buy a cup, someone will just block my way and surprise me with a priority task. But what must I do?

I really wanted to take more study but with the way things behave, it seems impossible. Especially right now where our junior sysad resigned, all in the group need to perform more to accommodate the tasks he used to do.

It's getting exhausting and I can no more participate in fora, check my email and all but well, I need to prove my worth in the company. Whew!
